Dr. Fellner is experienced in many different types of operations for bunion correction. One doctor may recommend a traditional Austin, or a Scarf osteotomy. Another doctor may advocate the Lapidus fusion. Another doctor promotes minimally invasive bunion surgery.

With over 130+ operations for bunions, this can be a bewildering choice. In practice since 1990 and with extensive experience after treating thousands of patients, Dr. Fellner will be pleased to be your partner in the decision making process, and discuss with you the many pros & cons, to discover the best option for your foot, and for you.
Every new patient is carefully & throughly assessed to understand better if bunion surgery is recommended. When bunion surgery is recommended we perform a series of tests that may include some, or all, of the following: history, physical examination, fluoroscopic evaluation, vascular tests, bone density tests, nerve conduction studies, F-scan computerized gait analysis and CT scan.

Equipped with this information we can discuss with you, the best available options.
